HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED

A quick blog for my late night thoughts! It is really easy to become discouraged when there is so much to do. To be honest (TBH) I feel a lot of the times, I really cannot keep up with the demand. Between working full time, owning my photography business, getting my second business up and running (KY At Last Farm), working out, binge watching my fav shows, chores, and life in general!

I have SO much I want to do, yet many times at night, I think, "Well I did not accomplish hardly anything on my list." But you know what I am learning, that is okay! It is okay that life does not go as you had planned it. Between all my tasks, I try to remember the purpose of this life. To love as Jesus did. It is so easy to get consumed with the busyness of life. I do not want to live a life so busy that I did not take the time to see the joy and beauty in the events happening around me! I have accepted that I cannot do everything. I have accepted that goals take a long time to achieve and they require a lot of patience to make it to the end.

No matter what you are struggling with, not enough time, not feeling motivated, not having energy or drive...you will get past it. You just have to push through and not give up! People will have an opinion on ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. As long as you have peace, don't give up and keep going! Sometimes I run on 14 hour days between my jobs. If I can do it, so can you.

Remember the purpose of this life, to have fun, to love and to make a difference. When you put this into perspective a lot of ideas and they way you react to situations will change too. I partake in photography because I genuinely love being behind the camera with my whole soul, it makes me happy. Do what makes you happy.

Quick tips to stay motivated:

  • Take a walk and really look at this earth and how amazing it really is
  • Watch an inspiring YouTube video
  • Call a family member or friend to talk about goals
  • Hug your pet
  • Go workout, a lift session always helps (blog to come)
  • Try to put life into perspective: a little drama in the end really doesn't matter
  • Lay out in the sun, Vitamin D really helps boosts moods
  • Write a list of goals
  • Listen/read a favorite book, bible verse or song
  • Snuggle with your GF or BF (one of my favs)

Thankful that I live this life, ya'll and thankful if you read this!
